Spooky season is officially here and we that means North
Shore Bank Zoo Boo is coming! Join us for family-friendly,
spooktacular fun on Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays
from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. throughout the month of October on the
following dates: October 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th.
North Shore Bank Zoo Boo is an annual Halloween tradition
you won’t want to miss. Adults and kids alike are encouraged to wear your
costumes and bring your trick-or-treat bags to collect candy as you stop at the
many Treat and Activity Stations around the Zoo. Kids can play games and spend
some time in the bounce house before or after you see the animals and enjoy all
the amazing decorations. In fact, North Shore Bank Zoo Boo features the largest
collection of skeleton scene displays in the area! While you’re looking at
the decorations, you’ll want to play the Zoo Boo Skeleton Safari game
to find our fan-favorite skeletons (like the Scary Fairy Queen and Terror
Swift!) making mischief around the zoo. Enjoy the 200+ carved pumpkins
lining the zoo’s pathways as you complete the scavenger hunt. Then stop by
the Prize Table before you leave so kids can choose a prize
just for playing. Of course, for the bravest zoo guests – you’ll want to take a
walk (or two or three!) through the Haunted Zoo Zone – if you
dare!
Tickets for North Shore Bank Zoo Boo are $15 each (kids
under 3 are free) or $20 each for a Combo Zoo Boo + Canopy Tour
Ticket. Combo tickets allow you to enjoy all the fun of North Shore
Bank Zoo Boo PLUS a walk on the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour, where you can enjoy
even more decorations and Halloween-themed fun! Zoo gates close 30 minutes
prior to the event end time and the Canopy Tour’s last departure will be at
7:00 p.m. on Fridays and 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, so plan ahead to give yourself
enough time to enjoy both experiences. You can enter the Zoo anytime after the
event begins, up until 30 minutes before closing time. Zoo Pass Members receive
a 20% discount that will automatically apply to your online shopping cart when
you’re logged into your membership account. Instructions for accessing your
account are found online at newzoo.org.
Please note: The NEW Zoo will close at 3:00
p.m. on Zoo Boo Fridays and 1:00 p.m. on
Zoo Boo Saturdays so we can prepare for the event.

Students will see animals up-close while learning about the topic, then do an interactive, adventure-themed activity. Program attendees do not need to pay admission to the NEW Zoo to participate; if you choose not to add admission to your visit, our staff will walk your
group members to and from the indoor program location. Zoo admission is optional.
