Dickinson County Community Theatre is proud to present Sherlock: 1899, a community theatre production written by our very own board President Stewart Boyles and based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s A Study in Scarlet — the very first Sherlock Holmes mystery.

This thrilling story introduces the iconic partnership of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson as they unravel a baffling murder in London. With its gripping two-part structure — crime in Victorian England and a revenge backstory set in the American West — this adaptation brings fresh life to a classic tale.
